Wife: name unknown, daughter of Richard Boyle. Children: Edward. Hill lived in Virginia until 1646, then returned by 1649. Provincial Offices (Maryland): appointed governor 1646, appointment illegal. Provincial Offices (Virginia): Speaker, House of Burgesses, 1644, 1645, 1654, 1659; Council, 1655, 1660-1663.
