Moved several times after left St. Marys County: Virginia by 1689, Charles County by 1693. Local Offices: commission to lay out towns, St. Marys City and St. Marys County, 1686. Provincial Offices: Council, 1680-1689; justice, Provincial Court, 1680-1689; Upper House, 1681-1682, 1682-1684, 1686-1688; joint chancellor and commissary general, 1683-1685; Board of Deputy Governors, 1684-1689; joint collector of Patuxent, 1684-1685; Land Council, 1684; joint secretary, 1685-1689; Keeper of Forests and Chief Ranger, 1685.
