Wife: 1. by 1718, Jane, daughter of Henry Lowe Sr. and Susannah, 2. Rebecca, daughter of Thomas Addison and Elizabeth/Eleanor, later wife of 2. George Plater II. Kin: Anthony Bowles. Children (division amongst wives unknown): Elinor (m. William Gooch of Virginia), Mary (m. William Armistead), Jane (m. Rev. Thomas Price). Local Offices: justice of peace, 1709-?. Provincial Offices: Burgess, 1710-1711; collector of North Potomac, 1710-1718; Council, 1720-1728. Land at death: 2000 a. plus, plus property in England. Ca. 1710, built earliest part of house still standing on "Sotterly."
