Biography:

Born in South Korea, Yumi Hogan is Maryland' first Asian-American first lady. She married Lawrence J. Hogan, Jr., in 2004, and has three grown daughters. Mrs. Hogan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, and a Master of Fine Arts from the American University in Washington, D.C. She is an adjunct faculty member at MICA.
