Born November 17, 1839. Son of Henry and Matilda (Phillips) Stansbury. Attended Carroll County public schools. Married Matilda A. Hodges, February 21, 1870, in Montgomery County, Maryland. Died June 2, 1915, in Hampstead, Maryland. Buried, Hampstead, Maryland.
