Biography:

Born 1945 in Long Island, NY.  Attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, B.A.; Rutgers University, J.D., 1969.  Admitted to the Maryland bar, 1979.  Married; three children.

Prosecutor, Howard County state's attorney's office, 1980-1989; 1995-2002.  Prosecutor assigned to HotSpots, an anti-crime program that concentrates resources in troubled neighborhoods, working in Long Reach and Harper's Choice villages.  Engaged in the private practice of law, 1989-1995.  President, Howard County Democratic Party, c. 1990.  Judge, Howard County District Court, November 2002- (appointed by Governor Parris Glendening to fill position left vacant in June 2002 by the death of Judge C. James Sfeka).  President, Howard bar and Community Building, Howard County.
