Edward Hall

Biography:

Edward Hall's date of birth is unknown.  In 1790 he married Mary Stevenson, the license dated March 8.  The couple resided on an estate on the West River and had one son, Henry Augustus, born August 17, 1793.  Hall was a member of the House of Delegates representing Anne Arundel County from 1794 to 1801.  In 1800 he was speaker of the House.   From 1801 to 1803 he was a member of the Governor's Council.  Hall became ill and labored for some time before his death on July 10, 1813.  He left his land called "Runne Mede" to his son Henry, and other lands and two slave boys to his wife Mary.
