Biography:
Married Hannah Barber, lic. June 21, 1798. Children: Elizabeth, Hannah (b. 1809), Gideon (d. 1836), Mary A., Ann Sparrow (b. 1818). Died 28 April, 1836 in Annapolis of pulmonary disease.
Mayor of Annapolis, 1811-12. Chief justice, Orphans Court for Anne Arundel County, 1822-36.
