The Baltimore Morning Herald--Issues from 1885 not listed on finding aid at MSA.

The Baltimore Sun--It was reported in another newspaper that the Baltimore Sun of Saturday, April 11, 1885 printed the circular letter written by "The Progressive Assocation" urging the African American community to raise funds for Cooper's trial to be taken to the U.S. Supreme Court.  I did not find this letter on that date.
