Biography:
Born Richard Wordsworth Gill about 1793 in England. Son of John Gill
of Alexandria. Married Ann Elizabeth Deale (circa 1805-2/18/1869), May
7, 1835 in Annapolis, Maryland. Children: Richard W. Gill, Jr. (3/20/1836-10/3/1838);
Mary Gill (b. about 1838); Anna Franklin Gill (b. about 1840); John Gill
(b. 8/15/1841); Somerville Pinkney Gill (10/10/1843-9/30/1864). Died January
26, 1852. Buried St. Anne's Cemetery, Annapolis, Maryland.
