Born in Howard County, Maryland, April 16, 1906.  Attended Gilman Country School; Donaldson School; The Johns Hopkins University; University of Baltimore, LL.B., 1933.  Married.  Died March 1, 1988.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates (D), Howard County, 1955-62.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in U.S. Army, 1942-46.  State's attorney for Howard County, 1947-65.  Member, Howard County and Maryland State Bar Associations.
