U.S. Magistrate Judge, from February 26, 1996 to July 13, 2014. Retired July 13, 2014. Assistant Attorney General, Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, 1979-81, and Civil Division, 1981-84. Principal Counsel for Trial Litigation, Office of Attorney General, 1984-86.

Law clerk to Judge Morell E. Sharp, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, 1973-74.
