Biography:

Born in Hagerstown, Maryland, February 20, 1942.  Attended Hagerstown public schools; The Hill School, Pottstown, Pa.; Tufts University, B.S., 1965; University of Maryland School of Law, LL.B., 1968.  Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1968.  Married.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Washington County, 1971-78.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
President, Young Republicans of Washington County, 1969-70.  Selected as one of the Outstanding Young Men of America, 1971 and 1974.  Member, Washington County Board of County Commissioners, 1979-82; Maryland Potomac Water Authority, 1979-82.  Member, Washington County and Maryland State Bar Associations; Potomac Fish and Game Club.
