Born in Phoenix, Arizona, May 22, 1926.  Attended Baltimore County public schools; Mercersburg Academy, Mercersburg, Pennsylvania; University of Maryland.  Married; two children. Died October 18, 2015, in Maryland.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Legislative Districts 3 & 5B (R), Baltimore County, 1963-79.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Farmer.  Associate supervisor, Baltimore County Soil Conservation District.  President, Baltimore County Farm Bureau; Maryland Angus Association; Maryland Stockman's Association; Maryland Red Meat Council, Inc.  Treasurer, Third Gunpowder Agricultural Club.  Chair, Baltimore County Animal Welfare Hearing Board.  Member, 9th District Republican Club; Baltimore County Elephant Club; Maryland National Bank Advisory Board; Baltimore County Historical Society; Society of the Ark and the Dove; Phi Kappa Sigma.
