Born at Tangier, Virginia, August 28, 1916.  Attended Crisfield public schools.  Married.  Died July 21, 1997.  Buried at Sunny Ridge Memorial Park, Crisfield, Maryland.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, (D) Somerset County, 1959-61.  Resigned, June 20, 1961.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Merchant.  Served in U.S. Navy, 1945.  Board of Zoning Appeals, Somerset County, 1977-78.  Judge, Somerset County Orphans' Court, 1979-86.  Member, Elks; Masons; American Legion.
