Biography:

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, May 22, 1927.  Attended Baltimore parochial schools; Loyola High School; Loyola College, B.S., 1950; University of Maryland School of Law.  Married to Mary Lu Schroeder; three children.  Died  November 27, 2013, in Baltimore, Maryland.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Legislative District 3 (D), Baltimore City, 1955-63.  Chair, Banking, Insurance and Social Security Committee, 1959-63.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in U.S. Navy during World War II; officer in Naval Reserve.  Assistant manager of automobile trade association.  Legislative secretary to Senator Herbert R. O'Conor, 1951-53.  Member of Advisory Council representing the employer, Employment Security Administration, 1967-83.  Secretary, Credit Card Study Commission, 1971-72.  Member, Junior Association of Commerce; Knights of Columbus; Advocate Club.
