Biography:
Born in Frederick, Maryland, March 22, 1926. Son of Dr. J. Bernard and Edna (Davis) McClellan Attended Massanutten Military Academy, Woodstock, Virginia; Georgetown University; University of Maryland; University of Georgia, D.V.M., 1955. Married to Betty Jane Marendt, six children. Died November 26, 2016, in Adamstown, Maryland.

1979-94. Vice-chair, Appropriations Committee; member, Health and
the Environment Subcommittee. Member, Special Joint Committee on
Pensions; Joint Expenditure Study Group on Health, Housing, Economic Development,
and the Environment; Joint Committee on Administrative, Executive and Legislative
Review. Chair, Frederick County and Western Maryland Delegations.

Frederick City. Founder and Director, Francis Scott Key Bank and
Trust Company. President, Maryland Veterinary Medical Association;
Great Frederick Fair. Member, Elks; Moose; American Legion; Independent
Hose Co.; Catoctin Club; Cotillion Club; Farm Bureau; VFW; Jeffersonian
