Member, Constitutional and Administrative Law Committee, 1975-76; Ways and Means Committee, 1977-86; Rules and Executive Nominations Committee; Legislative Policy Committee. Assistant majority leader, 1979-82. Speaker pro tem, 1982-86. Chair, Special Joint Oversight Committee on Economic and Community Development, 1984.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
President of Harbour Group Corporation, independent insurance agency.
