Biography:

Born in Washington, D.C., February 21, 1941.  Attended Calvert School, Baltimore; Gilman School, Baltimore; Yale University, B.A., 1963; Harvard Law School, LL.B., 1967.  Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1967.  Married.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Baltimore City, 1975-78.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Law clerk to Chief Judge Hall Hammond of Maryland Court of Appeals, 1967-68.  Served in U.S. Coast Guard.  Trustee, Maryland Environmental Trust since 1971.  Assistant attorney general, State of Maryland.
