Biography:

Born in Port Chester, New York, August 28, 1940.  Attended Washington, D. C. parochial schools; Paris American High School; Fairfield University, B.S.S., 1962; Columbus School of Law, Catholic University, J.D., 1965.  Admitted to the D.C. Bar, 1966; Maryland Bar, 1973; U.S. Supreme Court, 1974.  Married.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Montgomery County, 1971-74.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Practicing attorney.  Chair, Governor's Citizens' Commission on Crime Prevention, 1982-84.  Chair, Trial Courts Judicial Nominating Commission, 1984-95.  Member, Maryland Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, 1983-84; The Barristers; Maryland State, Montgomery County, and District of Columbia Bar Associations; University Club.
