John B. Thomas

John B. Thomas was born in 1820.1  He was the son of Levin and Charlott
Thomas.2  He served in the Maryland State House of Delegates from Queen
Anne's County in 1830, 1831, 1834, and 1888.  He served in the Maryland
State House of Delegates from Frederick County from 1858-1860 and
1870-1872.5

The 1850 census reported that he owned thirteen slaves.1  At the time of his
death he owned a farm of 170 acres.3

Thomas married Charlotte Thomas on October 22, 1840.2  They had seven children;
David, Margaret, John, Mary, Samuel Frank, Amos, and Charles.3  Charlotte died
in 1875;4 he married Harriet S. McCleery on June 2, 1880.2

John Thomas died in October, 1893.4
