Frederick J. Nelson

Frederick J. Nelson was born in 1829.1  He was the son of Judge Madison
Nelson and Josephine Nelson.4  He was admitted to the Frederick bar in
1851 and worked as an attorney in Frederick for many years.  In 1881
he served as secretary of the Confederate Memorial Association, established
to honor the fallen soldiers of the Confederate Army that were buried at
Mt. Olivet in Frederick.3

Nelson married Kate S. Schissler on November 12, 1872.2
