Biography:

Born in Dundalk, Maryland, March 16, 1933.  Attended Dundalk High School; Dundalk Community College, 1972-73; Essex Community College, 1974.  Married; three children. Died October 12, 2015, in Timonium, Maryland.

General Assembly:
Member of House of Delegates, District 6, Baltimore County, 1988-90, and January 11, 1995 to January 14, 2015. Democrat. Member, Judiciary Committee, 1988-90; Commerce and Government Matters Committee, 1995-98 (motor vehicles subcommittee; state government & civil rights subcommittee). Deputy Majority Whip, 1995-98. Member, Economic Matters Committee, 1999-2015 (alcoholic beverages work group, 1999-2007; real estate & housing subcommittee, 1999-2003; unemployment insurance subcommittee, 1999-2000, 2011-15; deathcare industry work group, 1999-2010; business regulation subcommittee, 2003-06, 2011-15; banking, economic development, science & technology subcommittee, 2003-10; workers' compensation subcommittee, 2003-10; alcoholic beverages subcommittee, 2007-15); Joint Committee on the Selection of the State Treasurer, 2003; Joint Committee on Workers' Compensation Benefit and Insurance Oversight, 2003-15.
