Biography:

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, December 9, 1951.  Attended Baltimore City College; Morgan State College, B.A., political science, 1973; University of Maryland, M.A., public administration, 1975.  Married; two children. Died May 20, 2005, in Towson, Maryland.

Served on legislative staff, 1975-79.  Lobbyist for eight years.  Staff to Governor's Task Force on Hazardous Waste Initiatives, 1984.  Member, Task Force on Indoor Air Quality, 1989-90.   Realtor, Long & Foster, 1995-2005.  Member, Maryland Advisory Council for Individuals with Disabilities, 1995-98; State Employees' Health Insurance Advisory Council, 1998-99; Governor's Work Force Investment Board, 1998-99.  Member, board of directors, Park West Health Center.  Member, executive committee, Baltimore League of Women Voters.  Member, Prince Hall Masons; Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.  Listed in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.
