Biography:

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, July 17, 1928. Attended Baltimore City College; The Johns Hopkins University, B.A., cum laude, 1950; Harvard University Law School, J.D., 1953. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1953.  Died in Pikesville, Maryland, November 11, 2004.

Associate Judge, Municipal Court of Baltimore City, 1961-66. Member, Governor's Commission on Law Enforcement and the Administration of Justice, 1967; Advisory Board of Juvenile Services, 1967-74.  Associate Judge, Supreme Bench, Baltimore City, 1967-82. Associate Judge, Baltimore City Circuit Court, 8th Judicial Circuit, 1983-98 (chief judge, 1984-98). Retired July 17, 1998.  Received Golden Deeds Award, Exchange Club; Man of the Year, Hebrew Noble Ladies; Honor Role for Superior Public Service, Afro-American; Annual Award for Humanitarian Service, National Council of Jewish Women.  President, Har Sinai Congregation Brotherhood.
