Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, January 26, 1937. Served in U.S. Army, 1955-57. University of Maryland, B.A., 1962; University of Maryland School of Law, LL.B., J.D., 1963. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1963.

Assistant State's Attorney, Baltimore City, 1963-67. Assistant Public Defender, Baltimore City, 1971-79. Associate Judge, District Court of Maryland, District 1, Baltimore City, 1981-83. Chair, District 1 Advisory Board, Public Defender System, 1985.  Associate Judge, Baltimore City Circuit Court, 8th Judicial Circuit, June 3, 1983 to November 5, 1999. Retired November 5, 1999. Chair, Public Awareness Committee, Maryland Judicial Conference, 1996-99. Circuit representative, Conference of Circuit Judges, 1998-99. Member, Committee on Building Public Trust and Confidence in the Justice System, 1998-99; Council on Jury Use and Management, 1999-.  Member, Maryland State and Baltimore City Bar Associations. Member, Baltimore; Maryland State Lodge, Order of Sons of Italy in America; National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), life member. Member, Archdiocesan Pastoral Council.
