Biography:

Born in Brooklyn, New York, March 24, 1925.  Attended McKinley High School, Washington, D.C., George Washington University, A.B., 1950; George Washington University School of Law, LL.B., J.D., 1954.  Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1965.  Married to Ida G. Ruben; four children.  Died March 21, 2007, in Silver Spring, Maryland.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Legislative District 2 (D), Montgomery County, 1971-74.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in U.S. Navy during World War II.  Judge, District Court of Maryland, District 8, Montgomery County, 1975-83.  Judge, Montgomery County Circuit Court, 6th Judicial Circuit, 1983-95.  Member, Montgomery County Ethics Commission; Eastern Montgomery Democratic Club; Kensington-Wheaton Democratic Club; American Arbitration Association; Juvenile Court Committee; Montgomery County and Maryland State Bar Associations.
