Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, February 23, 1950.  Attended University of New Orleans, B.A. (history), 1971; Duke University School of Law, J.D., 1974, L.L.M., 1976.  Admitted to the Admitted to North Carolina Bar, 1974; Maryland bar, 1980.

Associate Judge, Baltimore City Circuit Court, 8th Judicial Circuit, December 6, 1996 to December 3, 2012. Retired December 3, 2012. Judge-in-Charge, Civil Docket, 2005-09. Designated Judge for Advanced Science and Technology Adjudication Resource (ASTAR) Center Program, 2006-12. Designated Judge for Business and Technology Case-Management Program. Board of Directors, Judicial Institute of Maryland, 2001-12.
