Biography:

Born June 23, 1915, in Hurlock, Maryland. Attended Hurlock High School; Washington and Lee University, A.B., 1936; University of Maryland School of Law, LL.B., 1940. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1940. Married Mary Alice Turner. Two children: Julia Thompson Moore; Charles Turner Thompson. Died September 4, 1982, Baltimore, Maryland.

U.S. Naval Reserve, 1942-1945. House of Delegates, Dorchester County, 1950-1954; chairman, House Ways and Mean Committee, 1954; majority leader, 1954. Counsel, Dorchester County Commissioners, 1954-1958. Member, Economic Development Commission of Maryland, 1958-1964. Counsel, Commissioners of Cambridge, 1961-1966. State's Attorney, Dorchester County, 1964-1966. Judge, Court of Special Appeals, 1967-1982. Member, American, Maryland and Dorchester County Bar Associations. Member, Cambridge Rotary Club; B.P.O. Elks.
