Biography:

Born in Birmingham, England,  July 1, 1937.  Moved to Maryland, 1953.  Naturalized American citizen, 1959.  Received LL.B., University of Baltimore Law School, 1962.  Married, Nell Ward; two children, Anne and Amy Ward.

Assistant State's Attorney, 1967-1973.  Assistant Attorney General, 1973-1976.  Appointed to the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City by Gov. Harry Hughes, January 24, 1980.  Resigned, December 14, 1982. Prominent criminal defense lawyer in Baltimore area.  Active in local bar associations.
