Adeline Mackubin Kent Pratt (ca. 1815-1897)

First Lady of Maryland 1845-1848


Adeline Mackubin Kent was born in 1815 to Mary Mackubin Kent and Colonel Robert Wheeler Kent of South River. On September 1, 1835 she married Thomas G. Pratt.  They bought the Governor Ogle house in Annapolis on the corner of King George Street and College Avenue.  The had six children.  

Adeline was widowed when Governor Pratt died on November 9, 1869 in Baltimore.
