284 of the same Lord proprietary for the same Lord propry prays the advice of the Court herein the premisses and that due process of Law in this part against the same Benjamin Derixon may be made to answer unto the same Lord propry of and upon the premisses &c Thereupon it is Commanded the sheriffe of Somerset County that he should Take the said Benjamin Derixon if &c to answer &c And now to witt at that same Court held for the County af.d at dividing Creek this fifteenth day of June Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and forty two before the af.d Justices Came the af.d Benjamin Derixon in his proper person and had a hearing of the Information af.d and saith that he Cannot deny but that he is guilty of the premisses af.d in the Information af.d above upon him Imposed in manner and form as by the Information above upon him supposed and is willing to pay his fine for the fact af.d Whereupon all and singular the premisses being seen and by the Court here fully understood It is Considered by the Court here that the af.d Benjamin Derixon pay unto his said Lordship the Right Honourable the Lord proprietary for his fine by the Court here upon him Imposed for and by Occasion of the premisses af.d whereof in form af.d he is Convict three pounds Curr.t money of Maryland and that the said Benjamin Derixon is discharged from the Information af.d he paying the Severall officers Fees &c
held for Somerset County af.d to witt at dividing Creek in the same County the fifteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty two before Robert King Esq.r and his Associates the said Lord proprietary his Justices of the same County Court and for the same Lord proprietary doth give the Court here to understand and be Informed that Patience Bowles late of Stepney parish in the said County of Somerset spinster the tenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty one at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court did Commit fornication with a Certain person to the Jurors af.d unknown and did permit the same unknown person then and there to begett to the high displeasure of Allmighty God to the evill Example of all others in such Case offending Contrary |
