Certifie that on the day and year af.d at the place af.d I attached of the goods of and Chattles of the af.d
Daniel Harrick to the value of the af.d one hundred twenty four pounds four shillings and four pence
and seventeen hundred pounds of tobacco in the hands of John Records and by Benton Harris and John
Doe good and Lawfull men of my bailywick did make known unto the same John Records that he
be and appear to shew Cause &c as by the ^within^ writt I am required      so answers      John Handy Sher

       A Schedule of the goods of Daniell Harrick attached and praised for the use of Sam.ll Hopkins Vizt

one small D.o full of good & naild
one Large ovell tabell about 4 foot long @
38 pound of soap New and 1½ p p.d
one tub of soft soap @
one small box full and naild
one other small box full & very heavy naild
46 old Iron @ 3.d p pound one old bason 1s
two saws old one Drawing knife one auger all @
four rawhides @
a stone Jug broak full of Hogs Lard @
one wollen wheat @ 8s three old hoes @ 5s
four Chairs @ 11s the benches of 2 Linning wheels @ 10s
Two Cows big with Calf and one Gott a Calf @ 40s each
five Cows @ 35s each
three two year old yerlings @ 22s each
To year old yerlings @ 8/4 p.s
one four year old stear @ 40s
one old mare and yearling @ 40s
one young mare black & yearling
one old Loom & warping barrs two old bedstids one
old Cubard old barrell & buckett & other old Lumber all @

We Michaell Goddin George West John Masey
and Leonard Johnson all of Somerset County
being Summoned and Sworn by John Handy sher
have appraised the severall articles abovementioned
to the severall sums thereunto annexed for the use of
Cap.t Samuell Hopkins his 6th day of March
Anno Dom 1741 as Wittness our hands and

    Whereupon the aforesaid John Riords
Garnishee of the aforesaid Daniel Harrick in
his proper person Comes and Saith that he Cannot
deny but that he hath of the Rights and Credits of
of the Said Daniel Harrick to the value of the
Sixteen pounds Six Shillings and Eleven pence
Currant money of Maryland nor Can he Say but
that the Same Ought to be Condemned in his hands for the Use of the Same Samuel Hopkins as of the Rights
and Credits of the said Daniel Harrick which the said Samuel doth not Gainsay

                     And the aforesaid Daniel Harrick at the Same day altho' Solemnly Called Came not nor
shews Cause why &.a but made default &a

             Whereupon the aforesaid Samuel Hopkins prays that upon giveing Security according to act
of assembly in Such Case made and provided the aforesaid Sum of Sixteen pounds Six Shillings and Eleven
pence Currant money of Maryland so as aforesaid Acknowledged by the afd John Records Garnishee as afd and
the Severall goods and Chattles so as afd attached as the proper goods and Chattles of the afd Daniel
