251 Certifie that on the day and year af.d at the place af.d I attached of the goods of and Chattles of the af.d Daniel Harrick to the value of the af.d one hundred twenty four pounds four shillings and four pence and seventeen hundred pounds of tobacco in the hands of John Records and by Benton Harris and John Doe good and Lawfull men of my bailywick did make known unto the same John Records that he be and appear to shew Cause &c as by the ^within^ writt I am required so answers John Handy Sher A Schedule of the goods of Daniell Harrick attached and praised for the use of Sam.ll Hopkins Vizt
and Credits of the said Daniel Harrick which the said Samuel doth not Gainsay And the aforesaid Daniel Harrick at the Same day altho' Solemnly Called Came not nor shews Cause why &.a but made default &a Whereupon the aforesaid Samuel Hopkins prays that upon giveing Security according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided the aforesaid Sum of Sixteen pounds Six Shillings and Eleven pence Currant money of Maryland so as aforesaid Acknowledged by the afd John Records Garnishee as afd and the Severall goods and Chattles so as afd attached as the proper goods and Chattles of the afd Daniel Harrick |
