she is Convict thirty shillings Curr money of Maryland and that the said Sarah Sommers be taken to satisfie his said Lordship
of the fine af.d &c     
                                        Whereupon the said Sarah Sommers is Ordered to give good Security for the payment of all Fee or
Fees due on the Information af.d to any person or persons whatsoever         Thereupon a Certain John Williams & Joshua
Merrill of Somerset County Gent both present here in Court in their proper persons undertook and Each of them undertook for the
said Sarah Sommers and Each of them for the payment of all Fee or Fees ^due^ on the Information af.d to any person or persons whatsoever
in Case the said Sarah Sommers doth not pay the Same &c

                         Thereupon the said Sarah Summers is Ordered to give Security for her appearance at the next Court to be held at
dividing Creek in and for the County af.d the third Tuesday of November then next Following to give Evidence on behalf of his
said Lordship against the af.d John Parkes to the grand Jury &c

                         Whereupon Came here into Court the af.d John Williams & Joshua Merrill in their proper persons and undertook & Each
of them undertook for the said Sarah Sommers and Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his said Lordship the Lord propry of
Maryland in twenty pounds Curr.t money of said province of their bodys goods or Chattles Lands or tenements to the use of his said
Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied   If it happen that the said Sarah Sommers doe not make her personall appearance
before his said Lordships Justices at the next Court to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of November then next Following and
doe not then and there give Such Evidence as she shall know on behalfe of his said Lordship against the af.d John Parkes and that she
do depart the same Court without Leave &c

Somerset ss    Be it Remembred that Robert Jenckins Henry Gent Attorney of the Right Honrble the Lord

propry that now is who for the same Lord propry in this part prosecuteth doth Come here into the County Court of the same
Lord propry held for Somerset County af.d to witt at dividing Creek in the same County the Nineteenth day of August in the year of our
Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty one before Robert King Esqr and his Associates the Lord proprietary his Justices of the
same County Court and for the same Lord proprietary doth give the Court here to understand and be Informed that Absolum Hobbs late of
Stepney parish in the said County of Somerset planter the twentyth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty
at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court did Commit Fornication with a Certain Sarah Mears and of her
body then and there had Carnal knowledge and a bastard Child on the body of her the Same Sarah Mears then and there did beget to the
high displeasure of Almighty God to the Evill Example of all others in such Case offending Contrary to the peace of the Right Honrble the
Lord propry that now is his good rule and Government and against the form of the Act of Assembly in such Case lately made and provided &c
Whereupon the same Attorney of the same Lord proprietary for the same Lord propry prays the advice of the Court here in the premisses
and that due process of Law in this part against the same Absolum Hobbs may be made to Answer unto the same Lord propry of and upon
the premisses &c
                            Thereupon Command was given to the sheriffe of Somerset County that he should take ^the said^ Absolum Hobbs if he should be
found in his bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body here Immediately before the Justices of his Lordships
County Court of Somerset now sitting at dividing Creek to Answer unto his said Lordship of the Information af.d &c

                And afterwards to witt the same day and year above mentioned Came here before his Lordships Justices the said Absolum Hobbs in
his proper person and had a hearing of the Information af.d and saith that he Cannot deny but that he is Guilty of the premisses
af.d in the Information af.d Specified above upon him Imposed in manner & form as by the Information af.d above upon against him
