                            Negro George                                          (1

State of Maryland
          Harford County to wit      I hereby certify that the bearer
hereof Negro George five feet five inches and three quarters
of an inch high twenty three years old of a dark brown or
black complexion has a wide mouth thick lips and has
a scar on the point of his right shoulder and under his
right arm.  The said George became free in the year
eighteen hundred and four by virtue of a Deed of
Manumission made by Ann Dulton of said
county and duly acknowledged and recorded amongst
the Land Records of Harford County Court.  And
that the said Gorge was raised in the County aforesaid
    In Testimony whereof I have hereto subscribed my
    name and affixed the seal of the county aforesaid
    this 6.th day of August 1806

The said Negro George sworn to by Samuel Bond


                      Negro Jim

State of Maryland
             Harford County to wit   I hereby certify that the bearer
hereof Negro Jim five feet seven and an half inches high
thirty four years old of a black complexion became free
on this second day of October Eighteen hundred and six
by virtue of a Deed of Manumission made by John
Osborn of said county and duly executed and Recorded
the said Negro Jim was raised in Bush River Neck
in said county has a small scar on the right side of
his nose and very much bow-leged but more so in the right
than the left leg      In Testimony whereof I have hereto
set my hand and affixed the seal of the county aforesaid
this second day of september in the year Eighteen
hundred and six

The said Negro Jim was manumitted on this day in the office
therefore it superseeds the necessity of his being proved to be the person
as it was in my presence
