7 in the said will
Maryland ss I do hereby certify all persons whom it doth or may concern that by the last will and Testament of Charles Ringess late of Queen Anns County dec.d duly Executed on the 11.th day of Dec.r 1802 and legally proved in my office on the 21st day of the same Month (Dec.r) and in the same year a certain negro man named Joe who is the bearer hereof of a medling dark complexion five feet eight Inches high a Broad flat nose has a scar on his third and fourth finger of his left hand and a flesh mole on his breast and is about thirty nine years of age was manumitted and set free his freedom to commence "at the Expiration of the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and eight" and proved by the oaths of W.m Sudler and Sam Burgess Esquires to be the Identical person as mentioned by the Testator in his said will
Maryland ss I do hereby certify all whom it doth or may concern that negro Peregrine the bearer hereof of a Medling dark complexion five feet six inches high a broad flat nose has the mark of a black sows ear on his right knee and a scar on his right shoulder occasioned by a burn and is about twenty two years old is a free man by |
