295 third day of August one thousand seven hundred and thirty six we the Subscribers do Certifie that In pursuance of the above order we went and view'd the same new Road and did find that the said Edward Cluff had complyed with the above said order in every respect &c In Testimoney whereof we have hereunto put our hands the same day and year last above mentioned &c Giddion Tilman Thomas Hayward
pounds of tobacco to be levied of your bodys Goods or Chattels Lands or tenements for the use of the said Joseph MccClester in case the said Thomas Lambden shall not pay and satisfy unto the said Joseph MccClester the said sum of eight thousand three hundred and eighty one pounds of tobacco so as afd recovered against him with the additional Cost thereon ^on^ the tenth day february next Taken this 24.th day of November 1736 Tho.s Williams Ed Rownd Somerset County sst I hereby certifie that on the twenty second day of december seventeen hundred and thirty six personally appeared before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the peace in the County afd Francis Porter and Littleton Townsend of the same County and at the Instance of Capt Joseph MccClester high sheriff of the same County did Qualifie themselves as undersheriffs in that County by takeing the proper Oaths directed by Law and the usual oath of office and in my presence subscribing the test and oath of Abjuration Will.m Stoughton
