And the same to him ^to^ render still doth deny and unjustly detains altho' the same to the said
Joseph to render the said Thomas afterwards to witt on the first day of November in the year
afd at the County afd and often since that time was required  Whereupon the said Joseph
says he is the worse ten thousand pounds of tobacco and thereof he brings suit &c

       And the aforesaid Thomas Lambden by Francis Allen his attorney Comes and defends the force &
Injury when &.a and prays Leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill next Court and he hath it & the Same
day is given to the afd Joseph Macclester here also &.a

   Att which said next Court to witt the fifteenth day of June Anno Dom One thousand
Seven hundred and thirty Six Came againe as well the afd Joseph Maclester as the afd
Thomas Lambden by their attorneys afd and whereupon the said Thomas prays further
Leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill next Court and he hath it and the Same day is Given
to the aforesaid Joseph here also &a

       Att which said next Court to witt the Seventeenth day of August anno Dom one
thousand Seven hundred and thirty Six Came again as well the afd Joseph Macclester as
the afd Thomas Lambden by their attorneys afd and whereupon the same Joseph McClester
prays that the said Thomas Lambden to his declaration afd may answer but the same Thomas
altho' Solemnly Called cometh not nor nothing says in barr or preclusion of the action afd
of the afd Joseph by which the Same Joseph remaineth thereof against the same Thomas undefended
&a   Therefore it is Considered that the afd Joseph Macclester recover against the afd Thos
Lambden his debt afd and his damages sustained by Occasion of the detention of that same
337    debt to Three hundred & Eighty one                 pounds of tobacco to the Same Joseph
of his assent by the Court here adjudged and the afd Thomas in Mercy &a

 Somerset County sst  William Wye late of Somerset County Clerk was
attached to answer unto Henry Jeoffry of a plea of trespass upon the
case &c

    And Whereupon the same Henry by Robert Jenckins Henry his attorney
complains that whereas the afd William the first day of Aprill in the year of our
Lord one thousand seven hundred thirty and five at Somerset County within the Jurisdiction of
this Court was Indebted unto the said Henry the sum of nine pounds thirteen shillings six
