    proper person and acknowledged himselfe Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary in the Sum of
    five pounds Sterling to be Levied &.a if it happen that the said Rachell Fruman do not pay the Severall
    Officers their Fees due upon the premisses afd &a

 Somerset County ss.t  The Jurors for the right Honourable the Lord proprietary
that now is for the body of Somerset County af.d upon their Oath doth present
that Anne Jarvis late of Stepney parish in the County af.d Spinster (the tenth
day of march in the year of our Lord God seventeen hundred thirty and five at
the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jur of this Court did commit fornication with
with a certain negro person to the Jurors af.d unknown and did permit the same unknown
negroe person then and there to have carnal knowledge of her body and to beget then and there
a Basterd Child on the body of here the same Anne (the same Anne then and there being
a free mulatto Woman) to the high Displeasure of almighty God to the evil example of all others
in such case offending contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good
rule and Goverment and against the form of the act of assembly in such case lately made and
provided &a

                                                        On the Backside of the foregoeing Bill of Indictment it was
    thus Endorsed vizt Billavera Samuel Wilson foreman

       Thereupon Command was given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should take the said Ann
Jervice if &.a to answer &.a and afterwards to witt the fifteenth day of June anno Dom one thousand seven
hundred and Thirty six before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now here held at dividing
Creek in the Same County Came the afd Ann Jervis in her proper person and had a hearing of the
Indictment afd and Saith that of the premisses afd as by the Indictment afd above upon her Imposed
she is guilty thereof and for as much as there is due to Somerset County Seven Years Service from Such
person or persons guilty of Such Inordinate Copulation and the Issue of such person or persons Lyable
to be Sold for the Use of the County untill he or she should arrive at the age of thirty one Years
whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully understood  It is Considered
by the Justices here that the afd Ann Jarvis Return againe to the Service of her Mistress Alice Ellis
and at the Expiration of her Servitude the said Alice Ellis to Return her to the County Court of Somerset
or the Sheriff of the County in order to be Sold for the Use of the County afd for Seven Years according
to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided  And Likewise the Issue of the afd Ann Jarvis to
witt a son named                                       Jarvis is by the Court here sold unto the afd Alice Ellis untill
he arrives at the age of thirty One Years according to act of assembly in Such Case made and
Provided he being about four months old in Consideration Whereof the said Mrs Alice Ellis undertakes
