(77) Somerset County ss Att a Court of the Right Honourable Charles absolute Lord and Proprietary of the provinces of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c held for Somerset County at dividing Creek in the Same County the third tuesday of November (to witt) the twentieth day of the Same month ^and in the Ninteenth Year of his said Lordships dominion &c^ Anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty three by his said Lordships Justices the peace in the Same County to keep assigned of whom were present
Prince angro boy of Mr John Gales is adjudged be the Court here to be of the age of Years this term &.a William Gouldsborough of Talbott County Gent produced here in Court the Following Commission Maryland ss.t Daniel Dulany Esq.r his Lordships attorney Gen.ll of this province of Maryland To all To Whome these presents Shall Come Greeting Know Ye that I for the Especiall Trust and Confidence I have in the diligence Care and Circumspection of William Goldsborough of Talbott County Gent and of his Skill and Knowledge in the Laws & Customs of Great Brittain and of this province have made deputed and appointed and by these presents do make depute and appoint the said William Goldsborough to be Clerk of the Indictm.ts and prosecutor of all his Lordships pleas suits and actions within the County of Somerset in the said province To have and execute and Enjoy the said Office of Clerk of the Indictments of the said County with all priviledges Fees Perquisites and proffitts thereunto belonging as fully and amply as any Clerk of the Indictments heretofore had or ought to have to him the said William during pleasure given under my hand and Seal this twelfth day of October anno Dom 1733 in the ninteenth Year of his said Lordships dominion &a D Dulany (seal) Which being read and heard the said William Goldsborough present herein Court at his prayer is admitted prosecutor of his Lordships pleas in the County afd and Likewise to practice as an attorney in the Same Court he taking the Severall Oaths appointed by act of assembly to be taken to the Government with the oath of prosecutor and attorney and Subscribed the oath of abjuration and test Thereupon the said William Goldsborough present here in Court took the Severall Oaths to the Government appointed by act of assembly to be taken with the oath of prosecutor and practiceing attorney and Subscribed the Oath of abjuration and test &a & thereupon |
