262 Edmond Hough of Somerset County Gentleman apointed by the Court Overseer of the Roads in the Indian Town in stead of John Dennis Sen.r and John Beavins &c Whereas a Certain Mary Merideth was Committed into the Custody of the sher of Somerset County on Suspicion of felony and for as much as the prosecutor of his Lordships pleas for said County had nothing to offer against her and noe person appearing to prosecute the said Mary Merideth on the suspicion of felony aforesaid wherefore it is Considered by the Court that the said Mary Merideth be discharged from the Committment afd &c
the bounds whereof are some what precarious and Lyable to decay and the persons who are able to prove the same are either aged or Infirme Your petitioner therefore humbly prays that a Commission may Issue in common form to ascertain the bounds thereof and that the depositions thereon to be taken may be recorded in perpetuall memory and he will pray &c The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that a Commission Issue unto the aforesaid Henry Dorman as by the petition aforesaid is praid and that Thomas Gillis, William Jones manocan, James Strawbridge and Thomas Brown all of Somerset County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission according to act assembly in Such Case made and provided &c
&c and afterwards herein Court to witt the twenty first day of November anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty two Came the said Betty Game in her proper person and Likewise Came hereinto Court Levin Gale Esq.r who for his said Lordship in this behalfe prosecutes and saith herein Court that he will noe farther prosecute against the afd Betty Game on the presentment aforesaid Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Betty Game be quiet & goe thereof without day whereupon the said Betty Game is Ordered to Give Security for the Severall Officers Fees due upon the presentment afd Thereupon a Certain Stephen Winwright of Somerset County Bricklayer present herein Court undertakes for the said Betty Game to pay the Severall Officers Fees due by means of ye premisses afd &c Whereas a Certain Phenix Hall was bound by Recognizance to give Evidence against a Certain Mary Merideth on Suspicion of Felony ye said Phenix Hall is discharged Here being no prosecution fixed against the said Mary Merideth &c |
