222 Hickey al.s Dawsey is Like to become a Charge to the County he being begott beyound seas; and his mother declaring herselfe to be a married woman &c Whereupon the Said Joseph Hickey al.s Dawsey is by the Court bound unto the aforesaid Charles Hall untill he arrives ^to^ the age of twenty one Years the said Joseph Hickey al.s Dawsey to Serve his Said Master his heirs and assignes in all Lawfull Service during the term afd unless the Said Alice Hickey at the Expiration of her Servitude or at any time hereafter shall make her Said Master Charles Hall Satisfaction for Keeping and maintaining the Said Josheph Hickey al.s Dawsey which Satisfaction to be adjudged by the County Court of Somerset and upon the Said Alice Hickeys making ^such^ Satisfaction as above that then the said Joseph Hickey al.s Dawey be discharged from this present Indenture and Goe free from his Said Master Otherwise the Said Charles Hall If he lives to Learn his Said Servant during his Servitude to Read and Likewise find and provide for him meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing sufficient for Such a Servant to have & wear during his Servitude aforesaid &c George Benston Overseer of the Road in Stead of James Strawbridge from halfeway Pluncketts Branch into the Main Road at the head of Manocan &c Day Scott Overseer of the Road in Stead of John Evans Jun.r for the Ensuing Year &c William Jones of Manocan Overseer of the Roads in the Stead of Mathew Dorman for the Ensueing year William Weatherley Overseer of the Roads in the Stead of James Weatherly for the Ensuing Year &c Joshua Caldwell of Somerset County Gent Produced his Lordships Commission as high sher of Somerset County who tooke the Severall Oaths appointed by act of assembly to be taken to the Government with the Oath of sher and repeated the test and Subscribed the Oath of abjuration and test according to Law and Gave bond as was required in Such Case provided &c
take Paul Cragen of Coventry parish Weaver if &c to answer &c And afterwards herein Court to witt the Fifteenth day of august Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty two Came the same Paul Cragen in his proper person and being Instantly demanded how he would acquitt himselfe of the premisses afd above upon him Imposed says that he is Guilty thereof and every thing above said Expressly Confesseth whereupon al and Singular the premisses by the Court here being seen heard and fully understood Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid Paul Cragen pay to his Said Lordship the Lord proprietary for the Use of the County afd for his fine here by the Court upon him Imposed for and by Occasion of the premisses aforesaid whereof in form afd he is Convict thirty shillings Currant Money and that the Same Paul Cragen be taken to satisfie his Said Lordship of the fine aforesaid &c Whereupon it ordered by the Court here that the Said Paul Cragen Give Security to |
