Pointers Land Called St Lawrence and further Saith not   as also Cornelius Ennis on oath did say
aged 41 years or thereabouts that he heard somebody say that Natt Price did Cutt down a marked tree
that did belong to S.t Lawrence and further sayeth not this taken before us the Subscribers

of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c  To Edward Rownd
    James Rownd, William Simpson and Ephraim Heather of Somersett County Gentl Greeting
    Know Ye that we have appointed you or any three or two of you to be Our Commissioners to Examine
    Evidences on behalfe of a Certain Joseph Porter of the County afd Gent in Relation to the bounds
    of a tract of Land Lying in the County afd Called Ratckliffs adventure on the sea board side we
    therefore require you or any three or two of you that at some time and place as to you or any three
    or two of you shall Seem Convenient you meet on the afd tract of Land Named as afd and there
    Cause to Come before you or any three or two of you all Such Evidences as shall be to you or any
    three or two of you Nominated by the said Complainant and that you Examine them upon their Corporall
    Oaths to be by you or any three or two of you administred on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God in
    the presence of the Complainant afd (and deft if any) touching the truth or remembrance of their
    Knowledge or anything that may relate to the Cause afd and that reduceing the severall depositions into
    Writing you send the same together with this Our Commission und.r your or any three or two of your
    hands to us to Our County Court of Somersett with all Convenient Speed Wittness Samuel Hopkins
    Gent Chiefe Justice of Our Said Court the 20.th day of march in the Ninth year of Our Dominion &c ann.o

    dated the 20.th day of march 1724 to us Edward Rownd, James Rownd, William Simpson and
    Ephraim Heather Commissionating and appointing us or any three or two of us to Examine Evidences
    on behalfe of a Certain John Porter of the County afd Gent.n in Relation to the bounds of
    a tract of Land Called Ratcliffs adventure Lying on the seaboard side in the County afd and
    that we the above mentioned &c should Cause to Come before us or any three or two of us all Such
    Evidences ^as should to us^ or any three or two of us be Nominated by the Complainant afd and that us or any three
    or two of us ^should Examined them upon their Corporall Oath to be by us or any three or two of us^ administer on the holy Evangelist of almighty God in the presence of the said Complainant
