    40                                    March Court 1717
   Said Plt. doth not in any Sort answer unto the first Issue by him the Said Deft~
   Tendered in his plea to ye Said Plts Declaration in assumption the Said Deft
   prays Judgment as afd
     Demurer Joyned TBowne pr qr
     Which Demurer afd being read and Agreed And mature deliberation
   being thereupon by the Court taken do adjudge the Same good and ——
   Sufficient in Law to Barr the Plt afd from the Second assumption in
   the Declaration mentioned And that the Deft be therefrom acquitted

   Mary Frogg &xrx | The afd Plt. Recovered Judgment against the Said
   John Frogg decd | Deft Charles Glover on the Twenty Second day
             at | of August last for the Sume of Tenn pounds —
   Charles Glover — | fifteen Shillings and Eleven pence Lawfull money

of America the Debt in the Judgment as also the
   SUme of Three hundred Eight five pounds of Tobacco Cost on the Same in
   the Same Judgment mentioned . And now at this Court Came the afd Plt~
   by Thomas Bowne her attry and Acknowledges that he hath Received
   full Satisfaction of the Judgment afd that is to Say the Sume of Tenn—
   pounds fifteen Shillings and Eleven pence and Three hundred Eighty
   five pounds of Tobacco —

   James Harris Esqr | Kent County the Twenty third day of Novembr
             at | in the Second Year of his Lordships Domin:
   Lukenor Middleton | &ca. That he take Lukenor Middleton of

Kent County Planter if he Should be found
   in his Bailywick and him safe keep So that he have his body before his
   Said Lord Ships Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court house in the Town
   of Chester in Said County to Answer unto James Harris of a plea of Trespass of
   the Case and that he have then and there the Said writ &ca.   .
        Att which Said next Court vizt. the eighteenth day of March the Same
   Year last mentioned the day of return of Said writ came Simon Wilmer Gent~.
   high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in these words thereon
   endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr Simon Wilmer Sherf - And A Decln being -
   fild in Said Accõn folls vizt Kent County Ss. Lukenor Middleton of Kent County
   planter Stands Attaiched to Answer unto James Harris late Sherrife of
   Kent County afd of a plea of Trespass of the Case   And Whereupon the afd Plt.
   by Thomas Bowne his attry Compalineth that whereas the afd Deft~ viz the
   third day of Janry. in the year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred
