   three hundred eighty and eight pounds of Merchantable Tobacco unto the Said Plt
   when thereunto required would well and truely pay and Content And that
   whereas also the afd Deft afterwards vizt. the afd Second day of October in the
   Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen at the
   Parish County & Jurisdiciõn afd had Accounted with the afd Plt of and Concerning
   divers Sums of Tobo by the afd Deft to the afd Plt before that time vizt. (in the
   Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen) oweing and
   unpaid and upon that Accounting he the Said Deft then and there last
   mentioned was found in arrearage towards the afd Plt in the Sume of
   Three hundred eighty and eight pounds of Merchantable Tobacco and So
   thereof being found in Arrearage the afd Deft In Consideration thereof
   afterwards vizt. the afd Second day of October in the Year of our Lord Christ
   one Thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen at the Parish County & Jurisdiciõn
   afd upon himselfe assumed and to the Said Plt then and there last mentioned
   faithfully Promised that he the Said Deft the afd Sume of three hundred
   eighty and eight pounds of Merchantable Tobacco to the Said Plt when
   thereunto required would well and truly Pay and Content And whereas also
   the afd Deft afterwards vizt. the fifth day of December in the Year afd at
   the Parish County and Jurisidicõn afd In Consideration that the afd Plt at the
   like Special Instance and request of the afd Deft had then and there Last
   mentioned Sold and delivered unto the afd Deft and to the Proper use
   and behoofe of the afd Deft diverse other goods wares & Merchandizes
   at the Severall rates and prices in an Accot hereunto Annexed Set forth
   in the whole amounting to the Sum of two hundred and Sixty pounds of
   Merchantable Tobacco upon himselfe assumed and to the Said Plt then and
   there last mentioned faithfully Promised that he the Said Deft the afd Sum
   of two hundred and Sixty pounds of Merchantable Tobacco unto the Said
   Plt when thereunto required would well and truely Pay and Content And
   that Whereas also the afd Deft afterwards vizt. the afd fifth day of Decembr.
   in the year afd at the Parish County & Jurisdiciõn afd In Consideration
   that the afd Plt at the like Special Instance & Request of the afd Deft
   had then and there last mentioned Sold and delivered to the Said Deft and
   to the Proper use & behoof of the Said Deft diverse other goods wares
   and Merchandizes in an Accot hereunto Annexed particularly Sett fourth
   upon himselfe assumed and to the Same Plt then and there last
   mentioned faithfully promised that he the Said Deft So much Merchantable
   Tobacco as the afd Goods wares and Merchandizes Last mentioned Sold and
   delivered as afd at the time of the Sale & delivery of the Same were
   reasonably worth to the Same Plt when thereto afterwards he Should
   be required would well and truely pay and Content And the afd Plt —
