   And the Said Deft~ in his proper person appears to the above Accõn and prays
   liberty thereof to imparle thereto and to answer at next Court which having granted
   the Same day was given the Plt~. also
      Att Which Said next Court viz this Twentieth day of March Anno
   Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen Came the afd Plts
   by their attrys And the Said Deft~ in his proper person and Saith
   that~ he Cannot gainsay the Accõn afd of them the Said Plts nor but that
   the writing obligatory above mentioned in his Act and deed and that he
   oweth unto the afd Plts. the afd Sume of fifteen Thousand Eight hundred
   and fourteen pounds of Tobacco And is willing that Judgment Should be~
   entered for the Same and Cost thereon accruing : Therefore it is Con:
  :Sidered by the Court here vizt. the Same day last mentioned. That the .
   afd Plts. William Sweatnam and John Whittington do Recover
   against the Said Deft~. Thomas Theakston as well the afd Summe—
   of ffifteen Thousand Eight hundred and fourteen pounds of Tobacco
   Debt afd also the Sume of Four hundred and Twenty Six pounds of~
   Tobacco Cost by the afd Plts about their Sute in this behalfe expended
   and by the Court here of their assent adjudged And the Said Deft~
   in mercy &ca

        A Bill of Cost of the afd Judgment was made out and delivered to one
   of the afd. Plts viz William Sweatnam and the Same William—
   Sweatnam and the afd Deft~ Thomas Theakston delivered the Said Bill
   Cost againe and they the Said William Sweatnam and Thomas ——
   Theakstone required me to Enter a receipt on the Records of the afd
   County which was on the back of the Said bill of Cost which folls vizt.
   May 3d. 1718 Then Recd By the hands of Thomas Rasin on Account of the
   within Thomas Theakstone the Sume of Sixty five pounds Seventeen Shillings
   and Eleaven pence Sterling money of Great Brittaine and four hundred
   Twenty Six pounds of Tobacco it being in full of the within Judgment~
   and Cost being Sixteen Thousand Two hundred and forty pounds of Tobacco
   I Say Received in full in behalfe of Selfe and John Whittington-
