158 November Court 1718 and James Frisby William Reding & Gideon Pearce as the within writ of Attachment exacteth and requireth Simon Wilmer Sherf. And now at this Court came the afd Plt by Thomas Bowne his attorney & Prays that he may have Condemnation of the afd goods and Chattells Rights and Credits of the afd Charles Johnson attached in the hands of the Severall persons mentioned in the return of the afd writ of Attachment and the afd Thomas Ringgold Abraham Melton Thomas Jones Nathaniel Pearce William Thomas Samuel Clarke and Christopher Bateman the afd Severall persons in whose hands the afd writ of Attachment was layd came not to Shew any cause why the afd goods and Chattells Rights and Credits Should not be Condemned in their hands to the use of the afd James Smith Therefore it is Considered by the Court here vizt. this Twenty first day of November Anno Domini one Thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen That the Goods and Chattells Rights & Creditts of the afd Charles Johnson in the hands of the Severall persons as followeth vizt. Thomas Ringgold Thirty bushells of Salt of the value of thirty Shillings Currant money in the hands of Abraham Melton one hundred and forty Eight foot of plant of the value of Eleven Shillings Currant money and in the hands of Thomas Jones one old Shallop with Standing Rigen and Sayles of the value of Six pounds Currant money and in the hands of Nathaniel Pearce (nine Earthen muggs four quart Ditto three point Ditto two Ditto Saucers five knives and forks one pair Gloves two Grose pipes and forty pound of Powder) to the value of two pounds five Shillings and Six pence Currant money in the hands of William Thomas one pistole of the value one pound four Shillings Currant money and in the hands of Christopher Bateman one old Sadle of the value of fiteen Shillings Currant money and in the hands of Samuel Clarke one black mare of the price of fourty Shillings Currant money which Severall Sumes in the afd Severall persons hands amounts in the whole to the Sume of ffourteen pounds five Shillings and Six pence Currant money That the afd Severall Sumes in the afd Severall persons hands be Condemned to the use of the afd James Smith and that he have thereof Execution he the Said James Smith give Securety according to Act of assembly in Such Case made &ca on which Simon Wilmer of Said County comes into Court and acknowledges himself Securety for the afd James Smith that if in Case the afd Charles Johnson either by himself or his attorney Shall within a year and a day from Issueing out the afd writ of Attachment come into Court and appear to the orriginal Accõn and make it appear that the demand in the afd Attachmt: is Satisfied or any part thereof that then the afd plt Shall make restitution of the Same or that the afd Simon Wilmer will do it for him or the value thereof Judgment for 13 Condemnd 14 Remains 9/&11d for pt. of the Cost Jams Smith Clk
