Ann Arundel County sct   I Nicholas Harwood Clerk of Ann Arundel
County Do hereby Certify that it appears by a Deed of manumission
from John Hopkins to sundry negroes bearing date the twenty
first day of July in the year one thousand seven hundred &
seventy eight & recorded amongst the records of Ann Arundel County
Court that negro Nell aged about eight years at the date of the
aforesaid manumission was to be free at the age of twenty one
Years that the said negro Nell is about the age of thirty six
Years at this time that she is about five feet high her
Complexion black was raised at the head of South River
in the County aforesaid Gideon White of said county made
Oath before Joseph Sands a Justice of the peace for the
County aforesaid that the said negro Nell is the Identical
person mentioned in the said Deed of manumission
                Issued the 30.th June 1806


The State of maryland Ann Arundel County sct  I Nicholas
Harwood Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court.  Do Certify
that it appears by a deed of manumission from Samuel Peaco
to negro Grace bearing date the seventeenth day of march
in the year one thousand seven hundred & ninety seven &
recorded among the records of Anne Arundel County Court that
the said negro Grace aged about forty nine years at this
time was to be free from the date of the said manumission
she is about five feet five inches high her Complexion
black was raised in Ann Arundel County Samuel Peaco
of said County made oath before Gideon White a Justice of
the peace for the County aforesaid that the said negro
Grace is the Identical person mentioned in the said deed
of manumission
                   Issued the 24 July 1806
