6 The State of Maryland Ann Arundel County to wit I Nicholas Harwood clerk of Ann Arundel County Court do hereby Certify that it appears by a Deed of manumission from Samuel Maccubbin to Sundry Negroes bearing date the twenty third day of February one thousand seven hundred and ninety six recorded amongst the records of Ann Arundel County Court that Negro Dinah aged six years was to be free when she should arrive at the age of twenty one years that she is about five feet one Inch and a half high her Complexion black was raised on South River in the County aforesaid Samuel Maccubbin made Oath before John Brice a Justice of the peace for said County that the said Negro Dinah is the Identical person mentioned in the said Deed of manumission Issued 12 May 1806 The State of Maryland Ann Arundel County sct I Nicholas Harwood Clerk of Ann Arundel County Do hereby Certify that it appears by a Deed of manumission from William Weems to sundry negroes bearing date the fifteenth day of December seventeen hundred & eighty nine and recorded amongst the records of Ann Arundel County Court that Negro Ben was to be free on the first day of January eighteen hundred & six that he is about five feet six Inches high his complexion black was raised on herring bay in the County aforesaid William Whittington of said County made Oath before Gideon White a Justice of the peace for the County afs.d that the said Negro Ben is the Identical person mentioned in the said Deed of manumission Issued the 30 day of May 1806 The State of Maryland Ann Arundel County sct I Nicholas Harwood Clerk of Ann Arundel County Court Do hereby Certify that it appears by a Deed of manumission from |
