Sct The within named William Kilty appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in and for the county aforesaid and acknowledged the within writing to be his Act and deed as Chancellor of the State of Maryland Gideon White Recorded March 5.th 1806 Exam.d Maryland Sct To all whom these presents shall Come Greeting I Jerningham Drury of anne arundel County for divers good Causes and Considerations me thereunto moving declare free manumit liberate and Enfranchize the following Negroes To wit Flora aged about thirty two years to be free on the first day of September Eighteen hundred and fifteen and in Case Flora should have any Children during her Servitude they shall be free when they arrive to the following ages Viz Males at the age of twenty five and females at twenty one and her Children's Children to the latest Generations in like manner in a former manumition I Liberated a negro Dinah and I now declare Dinah's Children's Children to the latest generation to be free males at the age of twenty five and females at twenty |
